Given the latest guidelines from the CDC and WHO and our ongoing concern for our families, team, and community we are making the following changes.
We will be closed to the public beginning at 6 pm March 16th until March 31st and transitioning to a carryout, delivery, and shipping business model. Unfortunately, due to agreements with vendors, we are unable to easily transition to an e-commerce site but can be contacted via phone at 812-339-2200, via instant message/messenger, or directly through email firstname.lastname@example.org for orders.
In an effort to support our staff and community, for the time being, we will be running regular business hours to fill carryout, delivery, and shipping orders, as well as receive shipments.
30% of our business is grocery product with the majority of those offerings being non-perishable. We offer sauces, broth, dried pasta, polenta, rice, soup mixes, crackers, tinned fish, olive oil, vinegar, olives, tea, coffee, baking supplies, jams, honey, syrups, bar mixers, along with a number of cheeses, charcuterie, and spices. We currently are expecting 4 more food deliveries in the coming week. If you are buying food in the next 2 weeks, please consider supporting us along with other local businesses.
We can also deliver, ship, or make ready care-packages including kitchen and some non-chemical cleaning supplies, and gifts to meet your needs.
We are offering:
Curbside and storefront pick up
Free shipping on orders over $100 and $8 flat rate shipping on orders below $100
In-town delivery. *
*We are asking for a donation of $5 for this service in support of area agencies helping fight food insecurity and help the most vulnerable in this uncertain time.
We appreciate your messages of support in this challenging time. This has been a deeply challenging time for those of us with small businesses and teams who rely on us to stay open and viable. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and update our policy as needed. Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook, check our website and sign up for our newsletter for up-to-date information about the shop and inspiration on how to get through the next several weeks.
We believe deeply in this community and know we will get through this together. Be safe, be well, look out for your neighbors,
George, Sam, and Doug
